Pedralbes Festival

History, summer, nature, fine food, fresh air, and… music, lots of music. Those are the key ingredients that have established the Pedralbes Gardens Festival as one of the premier Spanish festivals with just 5 years under its belt. Part of its fine albeit newfound reputation lies in the high quality and radical success of some of its featured performers: Lana Del Rey, Josep Carreras, Zubin Mehta, Carla Bruni, Tom Jones (featured thrice), Pet Shop Boys, Bob Dylan, Charles Aznavour or Sting, have each given amazing performances at this delightful event.

One of the exciting new aspects of the 2018 event is the incorporation of fine dining venues, which will play an important role in the festival on three secret terraces, where guests can dine out in the cozy and totally exclusive environment of the Pedralbes Royal Palace. The event fosters an intimate atmosphere, featuring amazing entertainment, and giving guests the opportunity to enjoy a unique culinary experience before or after the show.

This event is also a great way to get a first-hand look at one of the city’s most beautiful gardens, home to rare and exotic species, like Himalayan and Atlas cedars. The grounds are open for strolls, jogs, or just plain enjoying, and surround none other than the palace itself, once home to Eusebi Güell, patron of the great Antonio Gaudí, and also a one-time residence of the royal family. To top things off, the site is spotted with several works designed by Gaudí himself.
