Located in a grandiose neo-Classical building designed for the Bank of Barcelona, the Wax Museum is home to a collection of over 200 wax figures, depicting some of the world’s most famous historical icons, beloved music legends, and scariest villains.

Aside from the astounding likeness achieved by the wax figures, this Wax Museum boasts a rather impressive context from within the walls of its grand neo-Classical structure. On site you’ll find two highly unusual cafes: an “Enchanted Forest” inhabited by magical trees, gnomes, and other fantastical creatures, and “The Passage of Time”, a place where avant-garde design and the world of entertainment meet in perfect harmony.

Areas of barcelona Ciutat Vella

To know Ciutat Vella is to know the origins of Barcelona: the old Barcino. The essence of what we know today as the historical nucleus of the city arose from the walled enclosure that surrounded it, where the Roman ruins coexist with medieval Gothic.
