Every Thursday, Hotel Jazz offers you an ideal afterwork in one of the best terraces in Barcelona: the Jazz Cub.

From 7:30 p.m. you can enjoy the best Martini Fiero cocktails, paired with the best Catalan rumba live.

The Catalan rumba, a musical genre that was born from the Catalan gypsy community in the city of Barcelona in the mid-60s, takes rhythms that derive from the flamenco rumba with influences from Cuban music and rock & roll.

This genre is based on a fusion of Catalan-Andalusian songs with the basic keys of Afro-Cuban music. Its identity signs are the 4/4 rhythm, the son patterns and the guaracha. Instrumentally it's accompanied by vocals and clapping with Spanish guitar, bongos, güiro, timbales, congas, small percussions, piano, winds, electric bass and electronic keyboards.

Enjoy the summer with the best rumba afterworks of Barcelona at Hotel Jazz!
