From 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Every Thursday, Hotel Barcelona Universal offers you an ideal afterwork in one of the best taverns in Barcelona: The Wolf Tavern.

From 7:30 p.m. you can enjoy a live Pop & Catalan Rumba performance.

The Catalan rumba, a musical genre that was born from the Catalan gypsy community in the city of Barcelona in the mid-60s, takes rhythms that derive from the flamenco rumba with influences from Cuban music and rock & roll.

This genre is based on a fusion of Catalan-Andalusian songs with the basic keys of Afro-Cuban music. Its identity signs are the 4/4 rhythm, the son patterns and the guaracha. Instrumentally it's accompanied by vocals and clapping with Spanish guitar, bongos, güiro, timbales, congas, small percussions, piano, winds, electric bass and electronic keyboards.

Enjoy the summer with the best rumba afterworks of Barcelona at The Wolf Tavern!
