Barcelona Games World, the videogame show organised by Fira de Barcelona, is transformed in 2019 to become NiceOne Barcelona (N1B). The new name reflects how the event opens up to new areas of the world of digital entertainment, incorporates new sectors to its offer and consolidates the experiential model. This festival aspires to become the largest digital entertainment festival in Spain and one of the reference events within the international panorama.
Videogames will continue to be the main protagonists of the festival and visitors will be able to continue enjoying the latest market news, as well as the professional competitions of the Professional Videogames League (LVP). Under the new brand N1B, Fira de Barcelona will present a 360-degree view of digital entertainment beyond the videogame and will create a space to bring together communities of videogame enthusiasts with others such as fans of content from streaming platforms, series, films or anime culture, among others.
With the new brand, Fira de Barcelona makes a nod to the gamer community by adopting a typical expression between players during the games (nice one) and summarizes in acronym form the fundamental axes of the new event: Networking, Innovation, Conferences and Entertainment.
In its last edition, the show gathered more than 138,000 visitors during the four days of celebration consolidating itself as the largest event in Spain dedicated to video games and eSports.
