December 11th, 2019: that’s the day to mark on your calendar if you want to experience the voice and energy of Bryan Adams as he performs live in Barcelona. The Canadian singer has chosen the Palau Sant Jordi as the venue for one of only three concerts he’ll give in Spain this time around. The first will be held on the 9th at the Wizink Center in Madrid, and Bilbao’s BEC will host him on the 10th, before he ultimately lands in our city to give a highly-anticipated performance.
This mini-tour around the Iberian Peninsula fits neatly into the worldwide tour Adams launched last March, upon the release of his latest album, Shine a Light. He’ll be singing his newest tunes together with his all-time greatest hits like Summer of ’69 and Please Forgive Me. You can also expect to hear some favorites from the many soundtracks he’s worked on, with original music composed for popular films like The Three Musketeers, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Don Juan deMarco, Jack and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
Bryan Adams has released tons of hits in his 40-year career, creating an exclusive style within the rock ‘n’ roll genre, and establishing himself as a musical icon. All told, he’s sold over 65 million albums worldwide, and is a Grammy winner with over a dozen nominations under his belt. He’s also come in at number-one in over 40 countries. That’s part of why seeing him perform live on December 11th is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
